Buonora Tasca D’Almerita Carricante Etna Bianco DOC 2022
Buonora 2022 is a wonderful expression of Carricante, a historic Etna varietal known for its vibrant acidity and unique minerality. Grown on the northern slopes of Mount Etna volcano, this Etna DOC white wine reflects the volcanic nature of the area, offering a multifaceted and complex taste experience. With mineral notes, sulfurous hints and hints of hydrocarbons that develop with aging, Buonora 2023 is a tribute to the verticality and depth of Etna wines.
Grape varieties: 100% Carricante, an indigenous Sicilian grape variety that thrives on Etna’s volcanic soils, bringing extraordinary acidity and complexity to the wine.
Vinification: Fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16-18°C for 12 days. Malolactic fermentation is not carried out, preserving the wine’s fresh acidity.
Aging: Aged for 4 months in stainless steel tanks in contact with yeasts, Buonora develops a refined structure and distinctive aromatic complexity.
