Bouvet Brut 1851 is an elegant sparkling wine made from Chenin Blanc grapes from the renowned Bouvet-Ladubay winery in the Loire Valley, France. This sparkling wine represents the perfect balance between tradition and innovation, thanks to a carefully curated winemaking process.
Vinification:
The first fermentation takes place in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks, ensuring precise temperature control and preserving the fresh, fruity aromas of the grapes. After fermentation, the wine is filtered before bottling. Next, the process of remuage (bottle shaking) and dégorgement à la glace (cold disgorgement) ensure the clarity of the wine. The final Brut dosage gives the wine its distinctive character, dry but not aggressive.
Organoleptic Characteristics:
On the nose, Bouvet Brut 1851 has dominant hints of fruit, white flowers and acacia. On the palate, it is a brut of great finesse, with a balanced structure and delicate effervescence, making it ideal for various tasting occasions.
Gastronomic pairings:
This sparkling wine is perfect as an aperitif and pairs beautifully with a variety of dishes, including seafood, sushi, tapas, and light seafood dishes. Its freshness and complexity also make it an excellent accompaniment for fresh cheeses and fruit-based desserts.
