• Production Area: Secondine, at the foot of the village Barbaresco, in the small valley from the Tanaro River to Moccagatta, with silty soils and a natural amphitheater.
• Vinification: After destemming and crushing, fermentation takes place in about 10 days at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Malolactic fermentation is completed before winter. The wine matures for at least 12 months in oak barrels and then refines further in bottles before release.
• Tasting Notes: Shows garnet red with brick-colored highlights. The nose is complex with sensations of raspberry and rose that combine with notes of tobacco, white pepper and licorice. The palate is elegantly structured and harmonious, with a fine and sweet tannic texture.

Origins and History: Secondine is one of the historical areas of Barbaresco, already recognized in the 19th century by Lorenzo Fantini and later by Renato Ratti. The silty soil and natural environment make this area ideal for the production of high quality Barbaresco.
